#MyMadness Story from Glacier National Park

Last week I had the pleasure of spending sometime in Glacier National Park up in Montana. I'll tell you- as someone who has done a lot of traveling this place is DEFINITELY one of my new favorites! I'm a sucker for peaks that blast off from the valley floor as if they were trying to make it to the moon in one fell swoop and glacier surely did not disappoint me in that department!

We only had 3 days so obviously we tried to cram in as much as possible: driving out to Bowman lake and hiking around the north side, making multiple laps up and down Lake McDonald "scoping the scene", driving clear over to the other side of the park (the through road was still closed for the season) where we hiked up to Redrock Falls in Many Glacier, dipped our toes into St. Mary's Lake, paddle-boarded at sunset at Two Medicine Lake. On our last day we planned for a bike ride up to the avalanche lake trail headed followed by a hike up to the lake but we were graced with some serious rain so instead we shifted our plans and headed south.

This "madness" seems to be our usual mode: Work Hard. Play hard. Right?

I'm learning now though that equally as important is Rest Hard!

Luckily for my I brought along my Moosejaw CO-LAB Nappetizer Hammock Kit by Therm-a-Rest and was able to sway in the breeze as I watched the sunset.. If this trip was a book almost every word would be highlighted but my time chilling in the hammock would also be underlined and circled.

Cheers,

Arielle
